Kim yamasaki, Founder

Kim Yamasaki is the founder of reclaiming abundance, a wellness-driven company rooted in the belief that every home—and every body—has the capacity to breathe with ease. What began with organizing boxes + closets for families in transition has grown into creating environments that nurture both inner stillness + outer order.

Drawing from Japanese principles of kokyū (“breath”) and ma (“the space in between”), Kim integrates mindful organization + embodied movement into her work. Whether guiding families through the chaos of relocation, resetting a home for new seasons of life, or leading community yoga gatherings, she designs experiences that restore flow, balance, and connection.

She has supported more than a thousand families through both residential + corporate relocations, including employees of Google, Disney, Netflix, Hershey, and others. This corporate portfolio is made possible through partnerships with companies such as Home Sweet Home + Movers Specialty Services, who serve corporate relocation firms around the world. Alongside relocation support, Kim has built community offerings like REFUGE—pop-up yoga + mindfulness gatherings designed to meet people where they are. Her approach is relational, affirming, and grounding, interwoven with playful creativity.

Through reclaiming abundace, Kim invites people to embrace “living meets breathing”: aligning home, body, and spirit. By releasing what no longer serves, rooting into what matters, and renewing spaces inside and out, she helps others create room for growth, creativity, and joy.

A native Angeleno with Japanese + Chinese roots, Kim carries her cultural heritage into her vision for wellness and resilience. Her Christian faith grounds her work in values of humility, rest, and grace. Beyond her work, she finds restoration in quality time with loved ones (puppies included), cooking, meditating, coloring, gardening, practicing yoga—and indulging her love of anime.
